Terms and Conditions

By participating in the St. Petersburg MLK Parade, all participants agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Compliance:
All participants must comply with parade rules, city regulations, and directions from Parade Staff.

2. Safety:

• No items may be thrown from floats. Hand distribution is permitted.

• All participants must maintain continuous forward motion during the parade.

3. Content:

• Entries must be suitable for a family-friendly audience.

• The parade is not to be used as a platform for political or special interest advocacy.

4. Vehicles & Floats:

• Maximum of two vehicles per entry (exceptions for motorcycle/jeep clubs).

• Floats must not exceed 50 feet in length, 14 feet in height, and 10 feet in width.

5. Liability & Indemnity:
To the extent permitted by law, participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Tampa Bay Collard Green Festival Inc., the City of St. Petersburg, and their affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages (including attorney’s fees) arising from participation in the parade, except those caused by the sole negligence or willful misconduct of the above entities.

6. Dismissal:
Parade Staff reserve the right to remove any participant who fails to comply with these terms, poses safety risks, or disrupts the parade.
